![]() As of 2020, multiplayer tournaments run regularly on PC. There are also Skirmish and Multiplayer modes, which allow players to construct fleets based on a points budget to face off against the AI or each other. In chronological order, the DLCs are: Reinforcements and Broken Alliance (concurrent with the base game, and addons to the base campaign), Sin and Sacrifice Resurrection and most recently, Ghost Fleet Offensive. For additional information on this tactical layer, see the Gameplay page.Įach of the DLCs will continue the story from where the base game left off, with later DLCs modifying the tactical layer significantly. Ships must be careful of their subsystems, armour facings, position, and battle stance to be effective. Or a mix of both, but honestly the fast ships either go ahead and get wrecked, or stay behind with the large ships and loose their maneuverability advantage. This forces you to choose between a few massively powerful ships, or a larger number of less powerful but faster ships. Both the AI and the player issue their orders at the same time, and upon clicking End Turn, both turns are resolved simultaneously. Edit: thanks for the advice As far as im aware 8000 is the cap. Upon engaging an enemy fleet, players control each ship individually in a turn-based battle system. For additional information on this strategic layer, see the Walkthrough page. Players will build fleets of up to seven ships, and then send these ships across the Cyrranus System to engage Cylon fleets and complete missions. The game takes place on both a strategic and tactical scale, similar to X-COM. The campaign tasks players with protecting the Twelve Colonies from attacks by the Cylons, humanity's robotic creations turned rogue, through thirteen story missions. Moore, and occurs roughly 50 years before the beginning of the TV series. This game takes place in the same timeline as the 2004 remake by Ronald D. I know you can hit your own ships with missiles.Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock is a 3D strategy game (released on PC, Xbox One and PS4) featuring the First Cylon War. Heck, when your ships are shooting guns at enemy fighters, can they hit friendly fighters? I don't know how the mechanics are with the guns. When you miss, can the gunfire hit something behind the target? Like, if you have a ship about to die, can you actually take another ship to block guns from hitting it or do they just hit it anyway? Which leads to another question. There's still lots of things i don't know how they work. BUT now with not being able to increase fleet sizes easily by fighting, i seem to need the RP just so i can increase my fleet sizes. I didn't realize that it was eating away at my ability to unlock blueprints. I did also learn the hard way about ranking up officers with RP. Two with the capacity for 8,000, one at 6,000 and two at 4,000. I have two fleets at the 8,000 cap then new fleets cant get experience because they are ar 4,000 and the cylons are running 6,000+. I didn't know about the fleet size scaling. Then later said like "now you built nukes, and so shall we". I remember the cylon ai person telling me that they build because the humans build. Fans will find all their favorite ships from Vipers, Raptors and Battlestars, to Cylon Raiders and Basestars, in addition to a brand-new. ![]() The vast majority of cases you'll want to be firing at full salvo size if your munition fires any more than 1 munition per salvo.ĮDIT: I've got a full ship/squadron/munitions guide in the Steam Guides section for Deadlock which you can check out if you want to reference munition stocks, ship loadouts, etc. Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a deep strategy game that also features a strong narrative with an extensive cast of characters, both new and from the existing lore. ![]() if you push up to 125% salvo size you'll fire 5 missiles in the salvo rather than 4, burning through your munitions faster. Standard Colonial guided missile salvo size is 4 missiles with 20 missiles in a stack. You'll drain your stock faster if you fire more missiles per salvo. Regarding increased posture / salvo size: Yes. Nukes just so happen to make satisfying explosions whilst you rake in your wins against the AI. Fleet Admiral requires a little bit of thinking about how you build your fleets, but it's still quite doable by most with some patience and the ability to learn from mistakes. Once you get good enough at the game you can win with most fleet compositions and loadouts up to Admiral difficulty.
